The mission of the Division of Forensic Science is to provide the highest quality scientific services to all members of the justice community and the State of Delaware. This is accomplished through a team of skilled and dedicated employees utilizing scientific equipment and validated methodologies appropriate to the forensic community. Throughout all sections, the mantra of this Division is “Science Serving Justice”.

Autopsy Report
A copy of an autopsy report may be released following a written request from the legal next of kin.
Death Certificate
Death certificate can be obtained from the funeral home or the Office of Vital Statistics.
FOIA Request
A FOIA request should be directed to the public body that has custody or control of the records.
